PCDC Teen Club Schedule and Events for December

The PCDC Teen Club is a DHS-funded youth program designed to bridge the educational and resource needs of low-income and minority students in Philadelphia. Our teachers have bilingual English-Chinese ability to assist ESL students.  PCDC also oversees and provides funding to other afterschool programs in Chinatown including Children’s Village, the Chinese Christian Church and Center, the Chinatown Learning Center, and the Philadelphia SUNS.

November Practice SAT Test was held December 3rd.

December Practice SAT Test has been cancelled.

Classes are cancelled for the last two weeks of December and first two weeks of January.

This workshop covers financial aid essentials, evaluates the worth of your college degree, and provides a quick guide to college alternatives to ensure your higher education is a smart investment. Covers scholarship opportunities. Bilingual English-Mandarin available.

HSBC Financial Literacy Tour

December 15, Thursday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, HSBC Bank 1027 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Get a behind-the-scenes tour of HSBC’s Arch Street branch and have your questions about personal finance and banking careers and internships answered by HSBC staff. Registration not required, but recommended; contact Ailin Cao at acao@chinatown-pcdc.org to RSVP. Open to parents and college students as well. Bilingual English-Mandarin available.
