Contest: Cigarette Butt Receptacle Design
See your art on the streets. Design cigarette butt receptacles to keep our streets free of toxic cigarette butts. Pick up a design template at PCDC’s office or print one here http://tiny.cc/pcdckickbutt and submit to Lamei Zhang in person or at lzhang@chinatown-pcdc.org. Four winners will get $10 gift cards and their designs will be painted on the new receptacles. Deadline: November 10th, 2017.
Make Chinatown History: Submit to 10th Street Plaza Art Gallery;
Chinatown Cultural Magazine
PCDC is accepting art and writing for our art gallery on 10th Street Plaza and for Chinatown’s first community cultural magazine. FREE Eye Care & Glasses for Kids
Give Kids Sight Day takes place October 21, 2017 for children 17 years and under to receive free eye care and glasses. This free event takes place from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Jefferson Alumni Hall (1020 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19107). The event is open to all children from Philadelphia and surrounding counties. Government-Sponsored Language Immersion Scholarships!
Learn about the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarships. High school students can win merit-based scholarships to

Volunteers Needed: Yè Shì Night Market
