High School Volunteers Needed to Keep Philadelphia Beautiful!

In July 2016, PCDC received a grant from Keep Philadelphia Beautiful to launch “Youth Organizing for a Clean, Green Chinatown.” In this 12-week program, high school juniors and seniors will work with PCDC staff to assess the needs of the Chinatown neighborhood. From this assessment, volunteers will create education materials for Chinatown residents and educate through door-to-door outreach and community meetings. This opportunity gives volunteers leadership responsibilities and offers them experience with nonprofit work.
