Free Acrylic Portrait Painting at PCDC – all supplies included!
On Saturday, August 19th, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, PCDC offers a free acrylic portrait painting class led by Sharon Ardito, graduate of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Free Financial Literacy Workshop – Smart Money Guide for College
On Saturday, September 30th, 2:00-4:00 PM, PCDC will be offering a free financial literacy workshop for teens: “Smart Money Guide for College,” which will cover all financial literacy essentials to help young adults start off on the right financial foot. Students will learn about banking, budgeting, credit, student loans, and more. All attendees have a chance to win 1 of 3 $20 Visa gift cards at the end of the workshop. August College Application Intensive Classes!
Wednesdays in August, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at 901 Wood Street. In August only, PCDC will offer an intensive college application workshops to help rising seniors buckle down and complete the Common App and college essays. Rising seniors and students applying for college in the fall are welcome to drop by.
Enroll in High School Art Classes at PAFA – Scholarships Available!
Registration for Saturday high school classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in the fall opens August 8. PAFA offers full and partial scholarships for these classes based on merit and need. Scholarship applications require a teacher recommendation, personal statement, and portfolio and are due September 15th.
