14 Seniors See Hope for an Affordable Home!
On Friday, August 5, 2016, 14 of PCDC’s rental counseling clients went to Upper Darby to apply for a new senior development – Alician Apartments. This project was developed by Nolen Development Group and is managed by Presby’s Inspired Life. It is expected to be completed in December 2016 and will have 53 one-bedroom units available.
PCDC brought 1 staff and 2 volunteers on site to assist clients throughout the application process. Applications opened at 10 AM, but our client Mr. Ye arrived around 6 AM and was the first in line. All 14 of our clients were within the first 50 applicants in line.
Presby’s Inspired Life is in the process of reviewing all applications. We are looking forward to hearing great news from our clients and are ready to help them with the next steps of moving into their new homes.
