Bilingual, On Call Front Desk Receptionist
Francis House of Peace – Ping An House is looking for a substitute (on-call) Receptionist. Francis House of Peace – Ping An House is located at 810 Arch Street in Chinatown. The shifts are Monday through Sunday: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am. Please note there may be weekend and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities: The receptionist will welcome residents, staff, and delivery people, while securing the building. The receptionist also takes calls, assists tenants with work order forms for maintenance issues, and completes other light office work as needed. The receptionist must file incident reports for disruptive behavior and must be well-versed in emergency procedures. At the end of each shift, the receptionist must submit a brief report to the staff log book.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School/GED
- Friendly, courteous manner. Good communication skills. Demonstrates patience on the phone and in person with callers, visitors and residents. Fluent speaker of English, and Chinese
