盡管有雨和溫暖的天氣, 在6月17日（星期六），220多個社區成員在費城中華基督教會暨服務中心參加了第九屆費城華埠發展會EXPO展覽會。超過40個組織參加，並且提供了各種各樣的信息，例如: 住房、金融、衛生、法律援助，等等。
與往年不同的是，費城華埠發展會推出了“通行證”來鼓勵與會者參觀不同的機構展覽，參加講座和活動。在出席者訪問機構展覽、研討會、活動或完成一項清潔調查後，他們會收到一張可以兌換抽獎券的貼紙。抽獎活動是由參加EXPO的組織捐贈的。
費城華埠發展會與費城社區法律服務(Community Legal Services of Philadelphia)分別舉辦了醫療保險、住房、職工權利和租戶權利專題講座。活動包括回收桶分發，費消城防局 (華埠)的消防卡車展示，來自Penn牙科醫學的牙科檢查，來自DREXEL家庭醫學的健康檢查，以及來自費城骨科醫學院 亞洲太平洋美國醫學院的物理療法治療。
今年的EXPO展覽會是歷年最大的，而且這個壯舉只能通過50多位志願者的幫助下才能圓滿舉行，部份志願者來自費城太陽隊。志願者負責準備安排和解結束展覽會，以及提供語言援助和活動管理。這相當於一個偉大的成功，費城華埠發展會想要感謝中華基督教會, PASSI, 所有的供應商、獲獎者、參會者和誌願者參與這次活動!
