PCDC’s 17th Annual EXPO on June 13th was a great success! This free event was made possible by our 251 participants, 37 exhibitors, 39 volunteers, 8 PCDC staff members, and our Event Supporter Abacus Federal Savings Bank.
We also appreciate the event support from the City of Philadelphia Department of Housing and Community Development’s (DHCD) Housing Counseling and Neighborhood Advisory Committee programs.
The event started with a lion and dragon dance from the Philadelphia Suns. Activities included raffles, Health Corner, Kids’ Corner, Get Your City ID & SEPTA ID station, and three community workshops: Women’s Wellness & Risk Management, Housing Resources, and Trash Recycle Info Sessions.
The City’s Department of Sanitation provided 100 recycle bins for our community members, and generous raffle donors contributed 25 raffle prizes!
