Establishing roots for Chinatown
Since 1966, PCDC has developed 481 units of market-rate and mixed-use affordable housing including Mei Wah Yuen, Wing Wah Yuen, Gim San Plaza, On Lok House, Hing Wah Yuen, Sing Wah Yuen, Francis House of Peace—Ping An House, and N 12th Family Homes. 306 of the units are affordable housing for low to moderate income families.

Mei Wah Yuen (1982)
Development of 25 townhouses on Spring Street from 9th to 11th Streets. Preserved the residential character of Chinatown’s streets.
Wing Wah Yuen (Dynasty Court) (1983)
Development of 55 units (Section 8) at Race Street between 10th & 11th Streets.
On Lok House (1984)
Development of 55 units (Section 8) rental units for the elderly & 2 commercial units at 219 North 10th Street. Innovation of incorporating commercial in affordable developments. Currently offering a Senior Center.
Gim San Plaza (1989)
Development of 14 residential units (28 apartments) and 14 commercial units (stores) at 9th and Race St.
