Lease Space in the Crane Building
Crane Chinatown, the new flagship mixed-use residential, retail and community center in Chinatown, Philadelphia, presents leasing opportunities for apartments, office and retail space. This 20-story building at 10th and Vine Streets, is visible from the Vine Street Expressway. The location will also attract high volumes of pedestrian traffic from Chinatown’s 10th Street.

Classes & Programs
Many of PCDC’s programs for community members take place at Crane. In 2024, Crane hosted 47 Kung Fu classes, 54 Tai Chi classes, and 8 ESL classes.
Crane also hosts our youth programs, including our Out-of-School Time (OST) afterschool program for high school students, our Career Connected Programming PHL (C2L-PHL) summer internship program, and our Black & Gold 2.0 program for Asian and African American youth.
PCDC also provides programming for seniors at Crane through our Senior Cafe program, which provides older adults in our community with a place to socialize, play badminton and ping-pong, and take digital literacy classes.
Programs and Services for Families
Crane has activities for youth, families, and seniors every day. In 2024, Crane had 1,603 bookings and 5,556 hours of usage.
Some of these programs include morning sports (open to all community members) and youth special gym hours. During these times, the gym is available for a mix of volleyball, basketball, badminton, ping-pong, and pickleball.
PCDC’s annual EXPO, a resource fair providing community members with knowledge of various programs, benefits, and programs, also takes place at Crane.
Families can also take advantage of other opportunities in the Crane building, such as the Chinatown Learning Center on the third floor providing early childhood education.
Cultural Enrichment
Crane Community Center also holds various community events throughout the year. During 2024, Crane hosted PCDC’s Chinese New Year Banquet, “Kung Fu Panda” drawing masterclass, and “TED Democracy” Chinatown Community Watch Party.
Chinese New Year activities also took place at Crane, including a calligraphy workshop with 40 participants, a mahjong social with 35 participants, and an arts & crafts market with 24 vendors, 40 volunteers, and over 500 attendees!
