Neighborhood Planning and Advocacy
Since 1966, PCDC has represented the Chinatown community in matters of urban renewal and community development. PCDC has led in best planning practices for land use and historic preservation. Today, it continues to represent Chinatown before City entities such as the Zoning Board, the City Planning Commission, City Council, the Philadelphia Parking Authority, and the Convention Center Authority. PCDC also serves as a liaison with city, state, and federal agencies, as well as with the media.
