“Old Stone,” Jonny Ma’s debut feature and recent winner of the City of Toronto Award for Best Canadian First Feature Film, opens in Philadelphia December 9th at the Ritz at the Bourse Theatre, 400 Ranstead Street. “Old Stone” is filmed in Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles.

This gritty psychological thriller follows an honest Chinese taxi driver, Lao Shi, played by Chen Gang, whose decision to assist the victim of a car accident catapults him into a Kafkaesque nightmare society.
