TreePhilly Community Tree Giveaway
Through the support of TreePhilly, PCDC will be giving away a variety of different trees to the Philadelphia community on Saturday, October 28th for free. Each planting address may receive a maximum of two (2) trees.
In order to receive a tree:
- Tree must be planted on private property (NOT along sidewalk/street or on public property)
- Tree must be planted in the ground (NOT a container)
- Tree must be planted in the city of Philadelphia
- Tree must be planted within 2 weeks after receiving trees
Available trees for pickup (All trees are on a first come, first serve basis. Limited number of trees):
- Red Oak
- Bald Cypress
- Sassafras
- Yellowwood
- American Smoketree
- Sweet Bay Magnolia
- Serviceberry
- Washington Hawthorn
- Staghorn Sumac
- Santa Rosa Plum
- Nectarine
- European Pear
- Fig
