Chinatown Community Center

Throughout the history of Philadelphia’s Chinatown, there has never been a physical space designated for community gathering, activities, or recreation. Ten years ago when PCDC began our move north of the Chinatown Core, our organization seriously contemplated the concept of a community center at the corner of 10th and Vine Streets. The community center is an enormous financial investment, we have been working hard to secure partners for this project. Pre-development steps have already been taken, a feasibility study has been conducted, and we are in the schematic design phase.
This 38,000 square foot facility will be both an anchor and a landmark for the Chinatown community.
