Family Services: Education, Health and Referral Services
PCDC’s Family Services Programs provides referral services, information, translation, counseling, and employment assistance. PCDC strives to close the gap between community need and awareness of public services through our outreach and referral programs.
PCDC operates the Teen Club, a youth enrichment program for ages 13-24 which meets every Wednesday and Friday evening during the school year. It also administers and supports the youth programs sponsored by Department of Human Services (DHS). These programs include: Chinatown Learning Center, Children’s Village, and Chinese Christian Center. For more information on the Teen Club, please contact our office. For more information on other youth programs in Chinatown, please visit our Community Resources section.
PCDC publishes a monthly bilingual community newsletter, for information on neighborhood events, offerings, and services. You can also receive this important monthly update by email, or subscribing to our mailing list.
PCDC is committed to bringing the voices of Chinatown to people outside the community in social-cultural perspectives.
