Registration and Voting: Giving Chinatown A Voice
At the heart of PCDC’s mission is empowering members of the Chinatown community. Community organizing and advocacy is an important strategies in ensuring that Chinatown remains a viable ethnic, residential and business community. PCDC creates mechanisms for people in the community to organize and advocate on important issues. All too often people who have limited English proficiency are less likely to ask for help. This is why we organize meetings and workshops, where government agencies, non-profits, and residents can come together and discuss community concerned issues.
