Free Youth Financial Workshop with HSBC

PCDC and HSBC are offering free financial workshops for teens. The first session was held September 26 at the HSBC Arch Street Branch.

The students were welcomed by Scott Willis, a Senior Regional Manager and Suzanne Abele, the Vice President and Senior Branch Manager. HSBC staff gave them a behind-the-scenes tour of the bank and answered questions about their daily work. Bank staff and executives explained why they decided to pursue their careers at HSBC, and provided information about HSBC’s internship opportunities for those also interested in banking careers. Finally, HSBC staff met the students at the Teen Club classroom for a Q&A.

This financial workshop was a unique opportunity for high school students to gain essential banking and investment knowledge, explore banking careers, and network with HSBC executives.
