Complaints were made on February 6th, 2017 about illegal dumping in front of Hing Wah Yuen. Large empty bags of flour and industrial bins were thrown in front of the residential community most likely from a local construction contractor. Trash and debris were found in the early morning.

PCDC reported the activity to the 6th District Police after receiving the complaint and police will begin patrolling the area in the evenings. The contractor is using empty flour bags from either a restaurant or bakery to contain construction debris. The brand of flour is “Metro Blue Star Flour”. Anyone with information should call the police at (215) 686-3060 or PCDC at (215) 922-2156.
